Janelle Cooper is our Director and Principal Solicitor based in our Warrnambool Office. Dedicated to excellence and social justice, Janelle has worked in Child Protection, Family Law and Criminal Law jurisdictions across Victoria since being admitted to legal practice in 2013.

Janelle holds a Bachelor of Legal Studies and Bachelor of Laws degrees from Latrobe University, and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Australian National University.

Janelle appears regularly in complex matters across the areas of summary crime, indictable crime, child protection and intervention orders across South-West Victoria for both adults and children.

Prior to commencing at Mildren Cooper McKenna Lawyers Janelle has worked as a solicitor at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service and Djirra. Janelle has a real passion for social justice and assisting and advocating for vulnerable and complex clients.

Janelle is a member of the Victoria Legal Aid panels in Child Protection and Family Violence.
